This Privacy Policy describes how Kaiser Murdock and Associates LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Good Air Day mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
The App is currently available only in the United States.
Account information: Email address and password when you create an account.
Location: ZIP code or postal code you enter, and the approximate latitude and longitude derived from it. This is used to fetch local weather, air quality, and pollen data. We do not collect your precise GPS location.
Health-related preferences: Optional health conditions you disclose (asthma, allergies, smoke sensitivity) along with severity levels. This information stays private to your account and is used to personalize your window-opening recommendations.
Home preferences: Preferred indoor temperature, whether you have air conditioning, whether you have window screens, and your notification tolerance and time preferences.
Notification tokens: Push notification tokens issued by Apple, used to deliver notifications to your device.
Usage data: Interactions with the App (screens viewed, buttons tapped, features used) collected via PostHog analytics. IP addresses are scrubbed at the SDK level and not collected. This data is associated with your account for product improvement purposes.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
You may voluntarily provide information about health conditions (asthma, allergies, smoke sensitivity). This is used solely to personalize your notifications and window-opening recommendations. We do not share health information with any third party except as necessary to store it in our database (Supabase). We do not use it for advertising or marketing.
We retain your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information from our systems within 30 days. Aggregated, anonymized usage data may be retained for analytics purposes.

We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and encryption at rest via Supabase. No system is 100% secure. If we discover a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
The App is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact hello@goodairday.com and we will delete it.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or bankruptcy, your personal information may be transferred to the acquiring or successor entity. We will provide notice if this occurs.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you within the App or by email. The "Last Updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision.
